About the Krause Auto Group
Welcome! The Krause Auto Group is made up of a collection of family-owned dealerships, all scattered throughout the great states of Georgia, North Carolina, Florida and South Carolina.
Founded in 1991 by CEO and owner Vernon Krause, the Krause Auto Group’s first store was Krause Family Ford. Since then, the group has grown to include 20 dealerships and over 1,000 employees across four states. Former VP and partner Dan Parks was an integral part of the business. Dan helped run the stores in Atlanta before moving to Huntersville, NC, in 2002 to operate Huntersville Ford. In addition to Huntersville Ford, he then oversaw Anderson Ford, Asheville Ford Lincoln, Myrtle Beach Mercedes, Myrtle Beach BMW, Hyundai of North Charleston, Hyundai of Venice and Mercedes Benz of Atlanta Northeast. We will always be grateful to Dan for what he contributed and the influence he had on who we are today.

Not only do we take good care of our guests, but the Krause Auto Group also takes pride in the long-term success of our employees. We have continued to grow in both robust and challenging times — we believe in long-term employees and promoting from within whenever possible. The growth of our employees is as important to us as the growth of our company.
On February 17, 2015, we lost our beautiful, loving and caring daughter, Angela, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Angie was diagnosed with a rare form of lung cancer (anaplastic lymphoma kinase, or ALK) three days after giving birth to her second child, Mason. When Angie passed, she left behind her three-year-old daughter, Ava, Mason, and her loving husband, Blake.
Angie was our youngest daughter, and was a wonderful sister to our oldest daughter, Jennifer, and our two sons, Matt and Zack. She became the General Manager of Cherokee Lincoln of Alpharetta after starting her career at Cherokee Ford in Woodstock, and is still missed greatly to this day.
To honor the memory of our late daughter, we changed the names of several of our stores to include her name, and we’ve been a strong supporter of the Chris Draft Family Foundation, a charity that helps raise support for education and research on the rare form of lung cancer that Angie suffered from.
